Apple Store is on sale in the remote control cable iOShutter. Turns iPhone and iPad into a control system for cameras with a timer, time lapse mode, the control bulb. Programmable functions and maximum flexibility. Version of Nikon and Canon 70 €

Maximum control of exposure time, time lapse, bulb mode using your iPhone and iPad. This provides what iOShutter, an interesting accessory for sale on the Apple Store and dedicated machines Canon and Nikon.

IoShutter is similar in concept to the cables for remote shooting with timers that are on the market, produced both by Canon and Nikon by third parties. What differentiates it from the rest of the system is the interface: on one side we have the camera and on the other we have not a remote control, but the iOS device with a suitable application that you download from the App Store offers many more features and flexibility the classic remote control with timer and cable.

Once connected iPhone and digicamera we can control remotely, manually, the system something useful for group shots and put on the stand, but also and above all, we plan to shoot long exposures and time lapse, or even for exposures timed. This allows you to create artistic effects, or simply funny and surprising, bright skies at night, light trails, overexposure, filmed in sequence showing the passage of time and so on. For example, the timer has a time scale that goes a second to a full day, in increments of one second. You can also program the shot using the device calendar. The bulb mode can keep open the aperture up to a whole day. The time lapse mode allows you to control the distance between one shot and the other, and the duration of the shoot up even 14 days in session. Almost all functions operate in cooperation, for example, we can shoot in bulb mode using the timer.

Among other functions it is reported the shooting to the clapping of the hands, but it is possible to produce a click when the iPhone and iPad perceive any noise, adjusting the microphone sensitivity. We can finally take shaking the iPhone and iPad. The system allows to determine the direction of motion and intensity, repetition of shooting range shooting.
IOShutter has been reviewed very favorably by some important sites that deal with digital photos as ePHOTOzine, Photography Blog and Digital Camera World, which highlight its very useful features and price, very cheap compared to proprietary solutions from Canon and Nikon who lose their comparison in terms of flexibility. Some third-party manufacturers have cheaper solutions, but none is able to equalize iOShutter for ease of use, programmability and ability to adapt to the diverse needs of Use.

Note that there are two different control applications, a base (which offers limited features) and a Pro that was once a fee (€ 8.99), but is now also free. To have access to and control functions TimeLapse sound and shaking, you have to register to the mailing list of iOShutter.
