Apple released two updates printer drivers built into OS X. If you have an HP laser printer or a recent Canon printer, the new version should allow you to print without a problem with your Mac. Apple does not list models managed, but you can find a complete list of all printers supported by OS X at this address.
You have no process required to obtain these new versions, they will be automatically available if you need it, that is to say, if you want to configure a printer concerned.
