A SMALL “PHOTO” – Waiting for the next edition of Photo , the main event Canon weblog dedicated to bringing together professionals and enthusiasts of photography and digital video, Casa offers the same initiative in part similar, although perhaps on a smaller scale: it is called Canon Live Experience and consists of three days of events open to the public free of charge: free trials of Canon cameras and lenses – including latest releases, such as Eos 70D for SLRs and Powershot G16 , tops among compact -, technical workshops, live shooting in studio, seminars and debates on the world imaging, and author profiles, interviews with famous Italian photographers, portfolio readings free of charge (please order). The Canon Professional Service will offer free assistance to owners of a Canon camera kit (cleaning sensor and optics, camera control etc..). Among the partners in the initiative are Adobe, Asus, SanDisk, the photo agency Mondadori Portfolio and IED (European Institute of Design).

NORTH AND SOUTH – Canon Live Experience will be held in Milan November 15 to 17 at the IED (European Institute of Design) and for the first time Bari in the following weekend, November 22 to 24, at the Fiera del Levante. Only in Bari is scheduled Friday from 10 to 18 a Digital Symposium, reserved for professional photographers. The edition of Bari, in collaboration with Apulia Film Commission, will have a program more geared to the world of video and film, without neglecting, however, the events planned during the three days of Milan.

LEADERS OF MILAN – In Milan among the protagonists of the meetings “Profiles of authorship” are expected Oliviero Toscani and Nino Migliori while discussing photography, journalism and entertainment there are among others the actress Lella Costa, the set photographer Marina Alessi, the street photographer Nicola Cicognani and more. Space to two exhibitions, one of the students of the IED and that of the winners of the “Power to your Next Step”, which will be announced Saturday, November 16.
