Canon launches a new series of LCOS projector for professional use: the XEED WUX450 and WX520 (two standard models) and WUX400ST and WX450ST (short throw).
The WUX450 is a compact model displaying a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, a brightness of 4500 ANSI lumens, a 2000:1 contrast ratio and with lamp operable between 3000 and 4000 hours. The zoom (1.8x) and focus are manual, and a double lens shift H / V is integrated. Together with this, add an HP 5 watts, one HDMI input, DVI-I, VGA input, audio input / output mini-jack, a USB port, an RS232 port and an Ethernet port. Note that embeds the latest generation of Canon AISYS optical system supposed to optimize the rendering and performance of LCOS Pannels.
The WX520 is cast in the same mold, but with a resolution of 1440 x 900 pixels and a brightness of 5200 lumens. As for WUX400ST WX450ST and they are similar, but are equipped with a short focal length to project an image of 2m54 diagonal with only 120cm drop. Canon finally states that these four new projectors include a processor last image generation and functions suitable for applications with multiple dis play a split screen and Edge Blending solution (merging function edges) to create panoramic images.
