Into Put yourself to the test and take part in competitions is always helpful for us photographers , there are competitions to be avoided because they are a bit ‘”cheating” but also those that allow to have excellent recognition and rewards. Canon and Mondadori announce the photo contest “ Power to your next step Award .”

Into “Power to your next step Award”, is the brainchild of ProjectLab – Mondadori Mondadori Advertising and Portfolio – and is open to all photographers, professional and amateur, who are willing to get in the game. The theme for 2013 is “ Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life “, which is also the central theme of Expo 2015 , who works in the initiative.

Into The competition is divided into three categories: Professional , Photo Addicted and Young-under 25 . Joining is simple, go to the website and register www.nextstepaward.it, then select the category with which you want to participate and upload your photos. For the Professional section are required five photographs + the curriculum for the Photo section and Addicted Young-under 25 can enter from 1 to 5 photographs and a brief caption. The photos will be rated and commented on by the community but the final decision will be made by a panel of experts consisting of Giovanni Gastel , Alberto Roveri, Adriano Brusaferri, Blue Spring, Chiara Spat (photo editor Grace) and then a representative of Mondadori Portfolio and one of Canon.

Into The contest ends September 30, 2013, to October, the jury will meet and announce the winners who will be 5 for each category. The winner of the Professional category will have the opportunity to receive an assignment by Mondadori Portfolio to achieve three photographic services paid . The winner of the Photo Addicted will win the kit Canon EOS 6D with zoom 24-105mm f/4L IS USM while for the Young-under section 25 of the award is kit Canon EOS 100D with 18-55mm IS zoom STM.

Into The total 15 winners will receive a kit consisting of three prints with shots of the collection Mondadori Portfolio also their photos will be part of an exhibition organized by Canon and by Mondadori Portfolio.
