Canon confirms its commitment to support young filmmakers and for the second year sponsoring the Berlinale Talents, an event dedicated to the creative talents of ‘ film industry that takes place in the calendar of the International Film Festival of Berlin.
Canon, Principal Partner of the Berlinale Talents, will sponsor a series of master classes organized for more than 300 talents of the film industry, and some workshops that will feature world-renowned professionals and innovative solutions from Canon.
The workshops, which will be held from 8 to 13 February 2014 and will offer tips and advice to filmmakers and industry professionals. The workshop, entitled Every Picture Tells a Story, will also be an opportunity to learn more about the latest technological innovations in the field of recovery, with practical demonstrations.
Among the speakers stand some professionals in the film industry as Franz Lustig ( How I Live Now ), Stefan Ciupek ( Slumdog Millionaire ) and Christopher Doyle ( In The Mood For Love ).
Canon will also support several master classes that will involve Directors of Photography, including Agnès Godard, who will talk about their experiences and discuss how filming techniques can improve the film production.
Post-Production Studio, created by the Berlinale Talents in collaboration with Canon, will be dedicated to digital workflows, by the steps of shooting and editing to color correction until the final stage of production optimization. A select number of participants will also have the opportunity to try out the Canon EOS C300, EOS C500 and EOS 5D Mark III.

addition to the program of workshops, Joerg Kyas portrait photographer will use solutions Canon in his studio to create portraits of each of the 300 participants at the Berlinale Talents , 2014.
The Berlinale will run for six days and will take place at the International Film Festival of Berlin, from 8 to 13 February 2014. They can participate in emerging professionals who have not more than ten years of his career and working in different areas of the market, including actors, directors of photography, technical installation, manufacturers, designers, distributors, sound designers and composers.
