Canon prepares a camera with a 75MP sensor? - Gizmodo Italy

When they arrive rumors about the cameras, they are usually accompanied by incredible numbers and this case is no exception. According to reports from Photography Bay, a trusted source stated that Canon would be testing a professional camera with the body similar to the 1D X, which has a sensor for more than 75 megapixels.

Into Photography Bay also argues that the screen on the back will have a “strikingly high resolution” and that the Frame Rate will be higher than that of the 1D X. In addition, the source also suggests that the new Canon camera could be presented later this year and be on sale next year.
Vale, also in this case, the consideration of always assuming that Canon really is testing a 75-megapixel sensor, does not mean they actually put it on the market in one of his cameras. Other rumors had suggested a previous EOS 1S with a 47 megapixel sensor, which is much more likely and realistic. But you never know.
