In 10 of the 12 countries Canon was the best known brand among consumers surveyed, more than 18,000 people.
Here are the ten countries: Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Slovenia and Switzerland.

Canon celebrates 13 years as brand European photo
Canon, a world leader in imaging solutions, has maintained its position as the most famous brand in Europe according to the 13th annual survey conducted by Reader’s Digest
The survey of consumers 12 European countries showed that Canon is the most famous brand of cameras in 10 of the 12 participating countries.

The survey of Reader’s Digest is one of the largest research studies with European customers and has interviewed more than 18,000 people in 12 countries. Respondents evaluated the brands according to quality, value, image, and the extent to which they meet the needs of customers. The questions also measured the trust that consumers place in the advertising claims of companies and brand attitudes toward the environment.
The 10 countries that have chosen Canon as the most famous brand have been Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal, Russia, Slovenia and Switzerland.
