Canon is working on a new SLR camera from the sensor with resolution of up to 75 megapixels, to be launched in 2014. The news site published by the Photography Bay , which speaks in detail of how the usual source considered reliable has assured about the authenticity indiscretion. Of course, before official announcements from Canon will be impossible to say anything about it, then it is better to read with curiosity justified by the alleged technical DSLR .
The new Canon SLR camera over 75 megapixels should debut in the segment Pro , aligning therefore from the point of view of design to the model EOS-1D X and focusing on a sensor from a very high resolution as the main feature of the machine. This would be the rest of the completion of a journey that began long ago: Canon has always talked about the development of super sensors with very high resolutions and then would finally be ready to integrate one in one of the machines planned for launch in 2014. Novelty, which might shake the equilibrium in the market for SLR next year, waiting to see clearly how to respond competition.
The machine in question, apart from the more than 75 megapixel sensor that is already enough to make the news, should also introduce a LCD display back in HD and provide a frame rate higher than the same EOX-1D X. Naturally, for the management of the higher resolution accompanied by a higher frame rate, Canon would be thinking the production and installation of a new type of processor. The announcement seems to have planned for the end of this year, with marketing therefore fixed at the beginning of 2014. As I said, no comment from Canon on this story.
