Compact Camerass: Canon EOS 8D, a new camera in development?

Canon is preparing the EOS 8D, or an SLR camera with 16 megapixel sensor. At the moment, however, remains only a rumor.

The technical specifications should have a APS-C sensor 16.2 megapixels, a system of automatic focusing with 45 points, no built-in flash but only optionally available as an accessory external interface and AV mode manual operation. However, it seems strange that the Japanese manufacturer decides to integrate a APS-C sensor from just 16 megapixels in a system like this photo. We must therefore wait for new rumors or a possible confirmation by Canon to know for sure if it’s a DSLR actually under construction, or not.
