Wallisellen, February 19, 2014 – Canon, a world numbers in imaging solutions, today launched the new imagePRESS digital color press C7000VPe FPNM (= Factory Produced New Model ). This model has been designed to assist organizations as they move towards the world of digital printing. It represents a solution offering a high quality and performance in exchange for a lower capital investment.
This competitively priced printer was manufactured through the following process: best sellers in recent years on the market are collected, compiled and disassembled down to the frame, in a Canon factory. The main moving parts are replaced and all the dismantled parts are thoroughly cleaned and subjected to tests prior to reconstitution of the machine; existing components and new parts and assembled to create a new edition of the original model . A large proportion of existing components are reused, allowing real economy in terms of raw material requirements and waste reduction.
The offer quality comparable to offset printing image while offering print speeds up to 71 A4 pages per minute. It also has large capacity in-line finishing – brochures, booklets and reports including fully connected. This printer meets the same stringent standards all Canon solutions.
