“Canon introduces two new projectors at ISE with LCoS technology, XGA resolution and WUXGA +, the luminous flux of 4,000 and 4,500 lumens short throw and optical lens shift up to 77% of the height”
Among the most interesting new features of this edition of the Integrated System Europe there are two new projectors Canon LCOS technology with a short shot, characterized by the presence – FINALLY – a lens shift function that works up to 75% of the height of ‘ the model image for higher resolution. The models are two: WX450ST XGA + (1440×900) and the model WUX400XT with WUXGA resolution (1920×1200).
The two projectors are credited respectively to 4,500 lumens (450ST) and 4,000 lumens (400ST), a ratio of 0,57:1 shot (450ST) and 0,56:1 (400ST) and a vertical lens shift from 0 to +77% for the model XGA + and from 0 to +75% for the model WXGA. For the model to WUXGA resolution can be obtained with a projection 100 “screen at a distance of just 1.2 meters and projector far away from the edge of the image. The quality of the first sample has convinced me fully: very bright, relationship contrast in line with what dichiatato, very good uniformity and quality optics as Canon tradition.
my questions on price and availability replied Alan Dempster: (pictured above), European Product Specialist Projector’s Professional Imaging Group which has shown an increase of about 2,000 euros more than the models with target traditional. The availability should be ensured for the next May. In addition, the possibility that in the future also embraces Canon laser technology, Alan replied that at the time the hybrid laser technologies are still being studied, since Canon mostly affects the image quality and respect for colorimetry, features that, at the time still need to be verified with new systems of hybrid laser illumination.
