Designed for mobile the new Canon MFP - Computer World Italy

i-Sensys range devices allow you to print and manage documents from iOS devices, Android and Windows Mobile thanks to the functions Scanning, Mobile Printing, and compatibility with Apple AirPrint and Google Cloud Print

January 14, 2014 – Canon today announced two new multi-function devices that offer SMB and workgroups maximum flexibility of printing. The models in black and white Canon i-Sensys MF6140dn and integrate MF6180dw fact multiple solutions to manage, print and scan documents via mobile devices, such as Canon Scanning for Mobile Business Applications, Mobile Printing Canon updating the application, support for Apple’s AirPrint and Google Cloud Print. The i-Sensys MF6180dw is also equipped with Wi-Fi capabilities and is compatible with PostScript print environments, enabling businesses to printing graphics and texts perfectly match the quality of original document.

Canon Mobile Scanning Business is the new app compatible with Canon i-Sensys, imageRUNNER and imageRUNNER ADVANCE. The free application allows you to scan directly from mobile devices or cloud, send them by e-mail and change the scanning parameters such as resolution, size and color. Users have the ability to manage scanned documents and save them on their mobile devices and select the destination to save, and work out the scans to print them or share them through applications installed on the device. Canon Scanning Business Mobile app will be available soon for iOS devices and in July 2014 for Android devices.

The new version of Canon Mobile Printing for iOS offers a conversion service that ensures data printing documents with the correct layout: the application corrects any errors of fact or formatting of layout paper during the printing process by converting the cloud, rather than relying on the rendering system installed on the mobile device. Canon Mobile Printing Application update is already available for iOS devices. The Android version will be released in April 2014.

In addition to updates of the mobile app, Canon offers printer support i-Sensys Meap through Google Cloud Print app for Meap, making it suitable for mobile working. In addition, the i-Sensys existing devices will have support for printing from Windows RT tablet. Google Cloud Print MEAP app for i-Sensys and support Windows RT are available now.

i-Sensys MF6140dn Multifunction and MF6180dw offer print speeds up to 33ppm, automatic duplex printing and a low index that allows TEC to reality with high-volume printing to save time and reduce printing costs.
