With dimensions of 117 x 91 x 69mm and 407grs canon 100D is really small, lightweight and compact. This weight loss program is a reduction of almost a third less than its big brother the Canon 700D with whom he still shares almost all the technology. Equipped with the famous APS-C 18 megapixel imager le100D shares his seven other cases of the brand ranging from consumer to professional. A guarantee of quality, therefore, all the more that the Digic 5 processor is also used on high-end devices such as the 5D MKIII. Electronics is known and contains almost every feature the characteristics of the 650D. No surprise so … mind-blowing or particularism.
the grip nothing really seems to miss out on this mini SLR, the main keyboard shortcuts are there, a quick menu access is available, a direct access to the key sensitivity has its place on the right shoulder of the housing and at the connectors, it is even possible to connect a microphone when shooting video. Fans will appreciate.
uses the touch screen functions Eos M with complete menu navigation and the ability to zoom in the image with two fingers. The slide is the finger as a Smartphone, but there is a small delay that does not appear when navigating with the arrows. It is also possible to trigger and select area map a single touch pulse. Refractory can completely disable if they are not comfortable.
Canon certainly offers one of the best implementations of the “touch” on the screens of reflex. Moreover, not only the navigation is fluid but colorimetry is faithful. The colors are neutral and really close to reality, no bad surprise therefore Logging. Ergonomically it is easy to find its bearings on the 100D except for one detail: the encoder disappears and is frankly bad. It was copied by the entire competition … on all reflex and compact lines … why remove

I wondered about this device, it tries me over hybrid small sensors, but there without matching lens, I find it very interesting indeed. Anyway thank you for the article and the pictures are cool. Just … navigation and ads on your site are hell, sorry.
For compact optical Pentax management and fixed focal (limited and / or pancakes)
… ;)

certainly, but it is not reflex
… uh … fixed focal (limited and pancakes) are for reflex enclosures master Benoit (but with heat, you can not always be the cleat ;))
As you suggested in the article, a small box c ‘ is (well, for those who love, have small hands and are not demanding on the viewfinder … so do not need a reflex me whispers it in the ear) … but a reflex, it is also a goal, and on the whole, a K5 with a 40 ltd weighs about 700g, with a probably comparable size (less flexibility but better quality)

Excuse me, I thought you were referring to their hybrid lineup, I was wrong. ;)
