Into “Some fixes and a few improvements to the performance of Canon EOS-1D X with the new firmware 1.2.4″
Into Canon has released a new firmware for its top of the range SLR Canon EOS-1D X: The new firmware fixes some problems and improves the performance of the machine in some circumstances. In particular, here are the enhancements and fixes as reported by the site Canon.it:
- Improves the speed of acquisition of the focus of the camera when using the focus assist beam automatic Speedlite.
- Reduces the time needed to display the measurement result on the LCD screen or viewfinder when the exposure meter is activated.
- Fixes an issue where the message “Caution 02″ (Note 02) is unnecessarily be registered in the camera’s status.
- Resolves an issue that interrupts continuous shooting when using a Speedlite.
- Fixes an issue where, when the GP-E1 GPS receiver is connected, the settings of the GPS device will be reset to default values ??when the camera is turned off.
