Canon shelve the project for the EOS 7D Mark II? - Videofotocamere.com (Blog)

For several months there was talk of the possibility that Canon , leading Japanese manufacturer of cameras and digital SLR cameras, could have presented officially to the public in the first weeks of the new year SLR Canon EOS 7D Mark II, technical evolution of the highly acclaimed EOS 7D is already in the list back in 2009.
Well, the news leaked to the network in the last hour are not very encouraging. Canon Rumors reports in fact a short message received from an anonymous informant was that the Japanese manufacturer may have decided to shelve the production of this new camera without specifying whether temporarily or permanently.

According to numerous rumors appeared in recent months the Canon EOS 7D Mark II would have to have an interesting technical features: new sensor in APS-C format with a resolution of 21 megapixels, an innovative hybrid AF system, ISO up to ISO 25600, viewfinder, 3.2-inch LCD display, GPS receiver, Wi-Fi connectivity and video module for Full HD movies.
There is at this point that await further news to see if the much-rumored Canon EOS 7D Mark II will sooner or later put into production or if Canon has finally shelved the project to focus on other more innovative cameras . Stay Tuned for possible updates.
