new Canon 70D, spearheading the brand in the segment of advanced amateurs, contains an interesting surprise: The new CMOS sensor 20million pixels actually compiles architecture 40million photodiode which enable it to perform the correlation point phase.
Each pixel is divided into two sub-pixels in order to receive the best shift focus between two images to be placed directly to the right place at the outbreak. In practice, this results in an almost instantaneous autofocus as well as via the optical viewfinder screen. This is the first time in the world of SLR that almost all of a sensor (also 80%) is used for phase detection and the LiveView is swift. We’re almost at the fastest IOC ahead ancient enemy brother, the Nikon D7100.
While on paper this may seem relatively trivial advanced in comparison with the performance of some compact or even a Nikon One example, in practice it turns out that the 70D combines in somehow the best of both worlds: ease of use, aided by an implementation of multi-touch, and the seriousness and the reflex own effectiveness. The result is interesting because the 70D is a very versatile and able to adapt to almost any terrain case.
