I’m coming two new super zoom cameras, the PowerShot series economic, the Canon SX510 HS and SX170 IS . The first adopts a 12.1-megapixel CMOS sensor (the previous model featured a 16 megapixel CCD) and thus gains the initials ‘HS’ system, which indicates a higher quality of the photo (thanks all’accoppiata CMOS sensor and DIGIC 4) in terms of noise reduction and dynamic range. The machine also offers Wi-Fi built-in for easy photo sharing on social networks like Facebook, Flickr and YouTube directly from the camera, or via smartphone, or tablet (thanks to the free app Canon CameraWindow, the GPS function allows add geotags to images recorded when shooting from a smartphone or tablet compatible GPS), and one 30x zoom, 24-720 mm equivalent, good for all kinds of photography, interior photos to sports and nature.

PowerShot SX510 HS is also capable of recording Full HD movies (1080p) complete with stereo sound. The Super Slow Motion Movie mode offers a more effective way to revive the action when shooting fast-moving subjects.

Canon SX170 IS : Camera Simple and Economical

The Canon PowerShot SX170 IS is a compact, economical, no frills and, above all, very easy to use, with a 16 megapixel CCD sensor and 16x optical zoom, 28-448 mm.
SX170 IS is also capable of recording HD movies.

On both machines, the Canon Optical Image Stabilizer with Intelligent IS technology that makes it easy to get sharp shots with longer focal lengths and in low ambient lighting, technology Canon ZoomPlus (digital zoom up to 60x for PowerShot SX510 HS and PowerShot SX170 IS 32x) and the Eco mode, which allows you to shoot longer prolonging the battery life (PowerShot SX170 IS, up to 46% of photos in addition, PowerShot SX510 HS Finoa to 32% more).

For the SX510 HS also features improved Zoom Framing Assist, a new automatic mode ensures that subject in focus even while you are moving towards or away from the camera .

The Prices of the Canon SX510 HS and SX170 IS, for sale by the end of August, 2013, are, respectively, 329 Euros and 198 Euros, VAT included.
