Yong Sport Academy Bamenda won his first Cup Cameroon football this Sunday at Omnisports Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium in Yaounde, by beating the sports Canon Yaoundé on penalties (4-1) after a draw (0-0).
They did! Players Yong Sport Academy Bamenda just written the most beautiful page in their history, by winning the 54th Cup of Cameroon football. Their first since the creation of the club, there are nearly five years. Academicians Bamenda were stronger than the sports Canon Yaoundé this Sunday, December 22, 2013, by winning the penalty shoot on goal (4-1), after a draw zero order throughout (0 -0) at the Omnisports Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium in Yaounde. The Gunners can not blame themselves.
Canon victim of his own moves
They were not very numerous, these supporters and fans who staked everything on Yong Sport Academy. They were not wrong. However, the Canon had the best scoring opportunity of the first half. The Mekok Megonda were indeed two fingers to open the scoring on this pass to Victor Evina Manga Mengue missing his heel sending the ball within five meters, when he was alone in front of the goalkeeper. A useless gesture, for an opportunity that would have allowed sports Canon to take the lead before the end of the first half.
After the break, the Academy of Bamenda had a better face. In a more organized game, the Academy has created the first scoring opportunity of the second half. But Serge Bendegue not managed to beat the goalkeeper Canon (48th). Men Emmanuel Ndoumbe Bosso keep the pressing, and the Gunners eventually crack. Pierre Wome and his teammates will be reduce it to ten with the expulsion of Atangana Mvondo, author of an unnecessary foul on Albert Nko’o at the entrance of the penalty area (52). Richard Nkake, the porter of the Gunners is doing well on the kick following (54th).
Kizito and the loser coaching?
game becomes balanced. Both teams manage to create opportunities that give nothing unfortunately. Seeing a shoot on goal to draw, coach Mekok Megonda, Kizito Eloundou conducting a change porters seconds from the end, tucking François Beyokol instead of Richard Nkake, yet perfect in this game. Coaching finally losing. Since the new entrant will block any of the four opposing penalty kicks. Yong Sport therefore imposes penalties, as was the case with Stars News (1/16th finals), Panther Nde (quarter finals) and Ums Loum (1/2 final). Ndoumbé Bosso and his players will compete with Union Douala, the CAF Cup 2014.
