Japan has been announced a new mirrorless Canon, Canon Eos the small M2 , a camera that represents an evolution from the previous model, but that did not – as many expected – the Revolutionary Dual Pixels CMOS AF that we have seen in action in the Canon 70D, a small disappointment that is partly filled by the Hybrid AF II, which debuted on the EOS 100D, and that is a good evolution of the Hybrid AF system used in the EOS M.
Canon Eos M2 has a CMOS sensor 18 megapixel APS-C , associated with a DIGIC 5 comes to a sensitivity of ISO 12800 sensitivity, expandable up to 25600 ISO. A new feature is the much awaited focus which is much faster and more accurate than the previous model which had raised a number of criticisms. The focus of the Canon Eos M2 is 2.3 times faster than the EOS M.
Canon has included the Wi-Fi connectivity integrated and made this new mirrorless 8% smaller than the EOS M. This camera was announced and officially introduced in Japan and China, but there is no news for a possible distribution in Europe and the United States.
Since the rumors that circulated some time ago, there was talk of two new mirrorless, there is still hope that we can have on the Italian market a Canon mirrorless camera with Dual Pixel CMOS AF, maybe something will be announced at the CES in Las Vegas which now lacks a little.
Canon Eos M2 will be sold at a price of $ 820 in a kit with the lens EF-M 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM and
Speedlite 90EX flash, the body alone costs 630 instead , $ 00.
