We recently mentioned the initiative on Kickstarter to bring back to life the type optical Petzval, bringing news of a similar fundraiser launched through crowd funding for a project that sees instead the focus of the medium format cameras.
The idea of ?? Lomography and Zenit has been to bring back to life the Petzval optics through a crowdfunding on Kickstarter. The initiative was decidedly foot and has well over a million dollars for the collection, giving the project a chance to get time to the production of the first commercial examples available from a few days in preorder.
